Hello! I was born in a town on the outskirts of Dayton Ohio where I stayed until I graduated high school. During that time I played many sports including football, basketball, city league softball etc. I have played football my whole life and truly love the sport which is what led me to become a coach here at BCHS.
I attended Morehead State University for my undergraduate degree in Social Studies Education and graduated in 2012. I am currently attending the University of Louisville for my Master's degree in Political Science and will graduate in December 2019.
I am married to my wife Kayti Michel who is a counsellor with Northstar Counselling service in Louisville. Our daughter, Eleanor Rose Michel (named after Eleanor Roosevelt of course) will turn 3 in December and continues to keep us on our toes. I also coach football here at BC and have been on staff since I was hired in 2014. It is a privilege to work with my students and my student athletes as they grow into the people that they will become. I view education as one of the few professions left in which a true difference can be made and I take that responsibility very seriously.
